Michael W. Upchurch
Principal Occupation and Business Experience
Mr. Upchurch has served as a director since 2020, and previously served on the Board of Mobile Mini and as Audit Committee Chair prior to the WillScot Mobile Mini merger. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Kansas City Southern (“KCS”), a transportation holding company that has railroad investments in the U.S., Mexico and Panama linking the commercial and industrial centers of North America, prior to retiring in April 2023. Mr. Upchurch served as Chief Financial Officer at KCS beginning in October 2008, having joined KCS in March 2008. Prior to KCS, Mr. Upchurch held various positions at Sprint, most recently as senior vice president – financial operations. He began his career as an accountant with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). Mr. Upchurch is a certified public accountant and has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University.
